Welcome to the official website of the Mujahid Education Trust (MET). Started in 1975, MET is a Calicut-based non-profit organization which aims to look after the welfare and development of women and children in distress. The trust is registered under the Societies Registration Act and has obtained Income Tax Exemptions under Sections 12A and 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
The MET continues to function in association with the Association for Welfare of the Handicapped. The areas of specialization of the trust includes welfare, advancement and empowerment of women and children in distress, amelioration of drug and alcohol addicts, educational advancements of deprived sections of the society and environmental protection.

Organize awareness generation programs on the challenges in a Society in transition
